On the 28.01.2022, roughly 350 persons interested in data protection from CERN, EMBL, ESA and ESO joined the webinar "BIG personal DATA protection".

The intriguing talks of the three invited experts and also the very engaged questions of the audience showed that data protection is no longer the exclusive concern of some specialist lawyers or privacy activists. And that data protection is no longer considered as an obstacle to scientific activities.
On the contrary, it has become an essential aspect of scientific projects and can be even an enabler of research.
