Right to Access

The right to access is an absolute right and not subject to specific conditions. It covers several aspects.

You are entitled to:

  1. request a copy of your personal data.
Please submit a corresponding request via the web form referenced at the bottom of the corresponding privacy notice.
A copy of the personal data processed by the service concerned will be provided in a commonly used electronic format (e.g. pdf, Excel file). You can also specify the prefered output format; we will do our very best to accommodate you, but we are not able to make any promises.

  2. enquire about other information such as purpose and lawful basis, which should typically be documented in the privacy notice.
We suggest that you consult the applicable privacy notice, like explained on the page Right to Information, which provides you with these details, amongst others.

  3. enquire whether your personal data has been or is to be transferred to an External Entity, as well as about the safeguards taken.
Also in this case we suggest to first consult the applicable privacy notice as it explains with which external entities the data is shared. If these details are not sufficient, or you would like to have specific information about safeguards, please submit a corresponding request via the web form referenced at the bottom of the corresponding privacy notice.
