Terminology
Profiling means any form of automated processing of personal data to evaluate certain aspects relating to a data subject, in particular, but not restricted to, his or her performance at work or behaviour.
In case of automated decision-making or profiling that significantly affects you, you are entitled to express your views and have them taken into consideration.
In practise this means that automated decisions may be challenged by you, and the Controlling Service must be able to give an explanation of the decision and should consider to turn to human intervention.
