Rights wrt automated decision-making
Terminology
Profiling means any form of automated processing of personal data to evaluate certain aspects relating to a data subject, in particular, but not restricted to, his or her performance at work or behaviour.
You have the right to be told if a computer or algorithm is making decisions about you (including profiling), especially if those decisions have important effects on your life (like affecting your job, finances, or rights).
You also have the right to give your opinion about those decisions, and the Controlling service must listen to and consider your views before or after making them.
To find out if automated decision-making or profiling takes place, you should consult the underlying privacy notice.
